Located on a 2,500 square kilometer license area in Kazakhstan, our project encompasses the super-giant Tengiz field and the adjacent Korolev field.
The areal extent of the Tengiz reservoir is immense, measuring 20 km by 21 km. This massive field represents one of the world's deepest developed super-giant oil fields with reservoir pressures exceeding 12,000 psi.
Total recoverable crude oil in the Tengiz and Korolev fields is estimated to be 1.4 billion metric tonnes (11 billion barrels).
